1. Accessories can be divided into three categories according to their structure and use

Second, the general requirements of steel pipe wiring accessories

1) The shell of the attachment should generally be made of cast aluminum, cast steel, cast iron materials, and can also be made of materials that meet the corresponding regulations;

2) When the shell is made of cast iron or light alloy material, its strength must be able to withstand the corresponding impact resistance test without cracks or obvious deformation;

3) The surface of the enclosure should have anti-rust measures, and the inner surface of the enclosure should be smooth and smooth, without sharp edges or burrs, so as not to scratch the wire;

4) The connection thread should be metric thread, cylindrical pipe thread or conical pipe thread;

5) The cover and body of flameproof accessories should be metric thread or cylindrical pipe thread, and its pitch, mesh number, mesh length and thread accuracy must meet the corresponding regulations; The use of conical pipe threads should conform to the corresponding regulations.

In addition to meeting the above general requirements, box accessories should have a large enough opening and internal cavity; The fittings shall be able to pass easily through the wire or cable with the maximum allowable cross-sectional area; The isolation seal shall have a structure to ensure the effective filling size of the potting material, and the effective filling length shall not be less than the diameter of the conduit, with a minimum of 16 mm.

Accessories used in special environments (such as hot and humid or corrosive environments) must also take appropriate protective measures in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards.
