Exterior Facilities and Power Distribution Considerations for Explosion-Proof Analyzer Huts

Most of the metal structure of the explosion-proof analysis hut is a non-standard product, the size of its size can be determined according to the number of analyzers, types, system complexity and operation and maintenance of space, and leave appropriate margins.

I. Explosion-proof analyzer cabin external facilities

Gas cylinder settings

Outside the hut can be set up with a protective chain cylinder fixed bracket, used to place the carrier gas cylinders and standard gas cylinders, if necessary, can be added to the cylinder guardrail to prevent unrelated personnel from approaching. In alpine area or poor environmental conditions, a cylinder room can be separated in the hut, which should be equipped with a separate door, lighting and ventilation facilities. (This item is optional)

Rain-proof and Sheltering

Doors, junction boxes, cylinder racks and sample pretreatment boxes should be above the rain shelter, or the small roof eaves to the outside 600 ~ 800mm, to prevent rain cover.

Power Distribution System

There should be a lifting ring on the top of the hut for overall lifting. The power distribution system of the explosion-proof analysis hut is: lighting, ventilation, heating, air-conditioning and internal instrumentation equipment distribution.

Utility equipment such as lighting, ventilators, air conditioning, and service outlets in the Explosion-Proof Analyzer Hut are powered from the industrial power supply. Analyzer system, installation check alarm and interlock system powered by UPS power supply.

II. explosion-proof analysis cabin power distribution

1, the common distribution box instrumentation distribution should be independent of each other, should not be combined with a junction box or distribution box; different voltage levels of power (such as 380V AC, 220V AC, UPS, 24C DC) should also be independent of each other, should not be combined with a junction box or distribution box.

2, the power supply junction box should be located outside the hut, the power line should be connected to the analysis of the hut through the junction box.

3, the main power switch should be located outside the hut, in order to disconnect the power supply in the event of a dangerous situation inside the hut.

4, the distribution box is located inside the hut, each instrument and equipment should be powered and wired separately.

5、Each distribution circuit should be equipped with its own fuse protection device and manual switch.

6, public power distribution and instrument distribution should be left at least ー a spare circuit.

7, power switches, distribution boxes, junction boxes and other electrical equipment should be installed in line with the protection of the place, explosion-proof requirements, installed outside the hut, the protection level should not be less than IP55; explosion-proof form should be selected Exd (e) type.

8, explosion-proof analysis hut lighting illumination is generally 250 ~ 300lx, in order to facilitate operation and maintenance. Should be equipped with accidental light. Lighting fixtures with inverters and batteries can be used, blackout standby time of not less than 30min, lighting equipment should be applied to the hazardous areas of Zone 1. Lighting switch should be installed next to the main door outside the analysis hut, using explosion-proof power switch. In order to facilitate the night maintenance operation, explosion-proof analysis hut outside the sample processing box and gas cylinder guardrail above the explosion-proof lighting should be provided and equipped with explosion-proof lighting switch.
