Peruntukan Umum   Komponen sarung kalis api boleh dipasang terus pada dinding sarung untuk membentuk satu pemasangan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan, atau dipasang pada rangka logam supaya pemasangan itu boleh diganti sepenuhnya tanpa merosakkan ikatan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">II. Kekuatan Mekanikal   Permukaan sambungan yang disatukan dan membentuk sebahagian daripada sarung kalis api hanya memastikan pengedapan sarung tersebut. Struktur hendaklah sedemikian rupa supaya kekuatan mekanikal komponen tidak bergantung sepenuhnya pada sifat pelekat bahan penyatu. Pintu atau penutup yang dijangka dibuka semasa penyelenggaraan atau pemasangan tidak seharusnya, apabila dibuka, menyebabkan kegagalan kaedah penetapan mekanikal tambahan bagi permukaan sambungan yang disatukan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">III. Bahan Pengikat   Bahan pengikat hendaklah mampu menahan keadaan operasi buruk yang diperlukan. Had bawah suhu operasi berterusan (COT) bahan pengikat tidak boleh melebihi suhu kerja minimum, dan had atas hendaklah sekurang-kurangnya 20 K lebih tinggi daripada suhu kerja maksimum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">IV.
