Las envolventes met\u00e1licas de todos los equipos el\u00e9ctricos en entornos explosivos, independientemente de si est\u00e1n instalados en estructuras met\u00e1licas conectadas a tierra, deben estar conectadas a tierra. Los requisitos pertinentes son los siguientes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">1) Todos los equipos el\u00e9ctricos en entornos explosivos de Zona 1, Zona 20 y Zona 21, as\u00ed como todos los equipos el\u00e9ctricos excepto los dispositivos de iluminaci\u00f3n en entornos explosivos de Zona 2 y Zona 22, deben tener cables de tierra dedicados a\u00f1adidos. Nota: Si el cable de puesta a tierra dedicado se coloca en el mismo conducto de protecci\u00f3n que el cable de fase, debe tener el mismo nivel de aislamiento que el cable de fase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">2) Para las instalaciones de iluminaci\u00f3n en entornos explosivos de Zona 2 y Zona 22, se puede utilizar un sistema de tuber\u00edas met\u00e1licas de conexi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica fiable como cable de tierra, pero no se pueden utilizar tuber\u00edas para el transporte de sustancias peligrosas explosivas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">3) Los cables de puesta a tierra dedicados para equipos el\u00e9ctricos y accesorios de iluminaci\u00f3n deben conectarse por separado a la toma de tierra principal (red), y el cable neutro de trabajo del circuito el\u00e9ctrico no debe utilizarse como cable de puesta a tierra de protecci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">4) La conexi\u00f3n entre el equipo el\u00e9ctrico en entornos con riesgo de explosi\u00f3n y el cable de tierra debe realizarse preferentemente con cable trenzado flexible de varios hilos, con una secci\u00f3n transversal m\u00ednima de cable de cobre no inferior a 4 mm\u00b2. Deben instalarse tubos protectores en las partes propensas a da\u00f1os mec\u00e1nicos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">5) Cuando se introducen cables blindados en equipos el\u00e9ctricos, el cable de tierra debe conectarse al perno de tierra del interior del equipo; la cinta de acero y la caja met\u00e1lica deben conectarse al perno de tierra exterior del equipo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">6) Los pernos utilizados para la puesta a tierra o la conexi\u00f3n a cero en entornos con riesgo de explosi\u00f3n deben disponer de dispositivos antiaflojamiento; antes de apretar el cable de puesta a tierra, los terminales de puesta a tierra y los sujetadores deben recubrirse con grasa de compuesto de potencia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Existen muchos requisitos de conexi\u00f3n a tierra para los equipos el\u00e9ctricos en entornos con peligro de explosi\u00f3n.
