General requirements of explosion proof dehumidifier

Explosion-proof dehumidifier is a kind of explosion-proof electrical appliances, mainly used for petroleum, chemical industry, army, oil depot, offshore oil platforms and other flammable, explosive environment air dehumidification, drying treatment, in dehumidification need to prevent the circuit leads to combustible gases, dust, liquids and mixed gases and other explosive possibilities.

Technical requirements

1. The purchased prototype dehumidifier must comply with GB5956 “room air conditioning electrical equipment safety requirements” and “room air conditioner” requirements;.

2. The connection of the cooling system of the dehumidifier must be welded.

3. The purchased explosion-proof junction box and other explosion-proof equipment should have explosion-proof certificate.

4. The whole machine assembly of all the equipment have product quality certificate, can only be used for assembly.

5. All parts of the whole machine assembly shall meet the manufacturing requirements.

Structural requirements

1. Fan motors, compressors must be equipped with protectors to limit the temperature of the device.

2. Compressor junction box, casting the technical requirements of the junction box shall comply with the provisions of GB3836.9.

3. Electrical clearance and creepage distance shall comply with the provisions of GB3836.4.

4. Explosion-proof junction box circuit connectors and intrinsically safe circuit connectors are to be welded and use safety caps.

5. Cable introduction device shall comply with the requirements of GB3836.1.

6. Intrinsically safe circuit conductor core cross-section should not be less than 0.5mm² copper stranded wire.

7. Other circuit conductor core cross-section should not be less than 1.5mm ² copper stranded wire.

8. Intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits shall be arranged separately and fixed securely at a distance of not less than 50mm².

9. The fan motor shall comply with GB3836.2 and GB3836.9 requirements.

Grounding

1. Metal casing, metal frame and metal pipes should be grounded.

2. Intrinsically safe cable shield shall be grounded at one end.

3. The grounding connection device should be firm and reliable.

Test

1. The insulation between the circuits of intrinsically safe circuits and the rack or grounding part shall be able to accept 1000V endurance test.

2. The insulation of non-intrinsically safe circuits shall be able to withstand an endurance test of 1500V.

Temperature

1. The shell surface temperature of the explosion-proof equipment shall comply with the temperature level of the explosion-proof symbols.

2. The maximum surface temperature of the refrigeration circulatory system during normal operation shall not be more than 120℃, and shall conform to the provisions of Chapter 12 of GB5956.

Factory inspection

The products shall be inspected according to the following items to meet the technical requirements:

1. According to the test strip for the determination of each time not less than 1 minute;.

2. Dehumidifier in the state of maximum refrigeration dehumidification, carried out until the stabilization of the temperature test and converted to the maximum operating temperature of 43 ℃ temperature according to Article 5.2;

3. Check the electrical performance (such as current, voltage, etc., must meet the requirements)

Explosion-proof dehumidifier maintenance

1, long time not use dehumidifier, should be good protective measures: winter or business trip and other long-term non-use of dehumidifiers, should be protective cover or plastic bag to cover the dehumidifier, so as to avoid sun and rain, dust deposition, resulting in future cleaning and maintenance difficulties.

2, correctly set the dehumidifier humidity: set the dehumidifier humidity, should be based on their own sense of humidity, the number of people in the space, the size of the space and other actual conditions to set the humidity. Usually, the indoor relative humidity of about 60% RH, the human body will feel more comfortable. When the humidity is set too low, in addition to making people feel dry, it will shorten the service life of the dehumidifier. (Due to the difference between indoor and outdoor humidity, outdoor moisture diffusion to the indoor, resulting in frequent compressor start and stop, but also consume energy)

3, regular inspection of dehumidifiers: dehumidifier after a long time of use, the unit’s internal wiring and control components will have varying degrees of aging, which can lead to serious short-circuit components burned machine and human injury. Regular inspection of the circuit of the dehumidifier, replacement of aging components, refrigerant supplementation, can effectively prevent the aging of components on the machine and the human body caused by the damage, but also allows the dehumidifier to maintain a good working condition.
